The Employee Counselling Point, which offers the possibility of free talks with a psychologist, was set up in the summer of 2020, a time when the Covid 19 pandemic hit our area hard, leaving a trail of grief and hardship. We felt it was important to provide an individual, confidential and remote space for colleagues in particular stressful situations.
The experience was positive, and, convinced that it is important to offer support in order to re-elaborate some personal distress, the help desk continues today with the same professional. Colleagues can make appointments independently and confidentially, choosing for the interview various forms of video call or even a simple phone call.
We periodically remind colleagues of this possibility, and on the employee portal we have posted a video of the psychologist, so that everyone can put a face to the professional who answers them at the Counter.
