Inaugurato il depuratore di Mairano

Work has been completed and the first lot of the new Mairano sewage treatment plant and related collector, which in the immediate term will serve only the town of Mairano, is close to start-up. The plant is located along Via Cesare Battisti, on an area of about 11,000 square meters, near the Molgora irrigation ditch.

The purification plant has been completed, with regard to the water line, to serve 9,000 population equivalents; the sludge treatment line, with aerobic stabilization and dewatering, will instead be built with the second batch of works, which have already been contracted and will begin by the summer with the expectation of completion in 2025.
